Next round of box leagues
Dear fellow squash club members,
It's that time again when I do my shout out for anyone looking to join in the box leagues for the next cycle, to start soon and end on 19th June. Please email me if you would like to be included.
A brief summary of the cycle just ended......
Please put your hands together for the impressive league 8 crew, who played every possible match, (Yay!!!) with Kaylass Ramlagan emerging victorious and now on the way up - watch out league 7.....
Also completing a clean sweep in his league was relatively new member Bob Van Oorschot - on his way up also. Well played.
Neil Thomas played and won all possible matches....albeit that most of them were close - well done - going up.....
Carlo Gris continues his impressive and relentless rise up the charts too, notably without dropping a game this time round.
You too could get an unsolicited shout out at the end of the next round - come on, get playing, and join/re-join if you are not currently involved.
If you are currently out injured, but now fit to return, please let me know. Some of you may have already asked to be included again - please remind me if this applies to you.
On a final personal note I would like to say that it is great to be back having been in South Africa since late December. We have a very special club here, full of good people. Let's not take it for granted, and get playing more - court availability is pretty good now. And the bar beckons - the more the merrier. Come upstairs!
