Bar news and Club Night on Friday 22nd December 2017

1). Bar Prices

Unfortunately, due to increasing supplier prices and bar running costs, the committee has had to take the decision to raise bar prices by 8% effective from January 2nd 2018.

This means for example that Harvey's Best will now be £3.70 a pint, bottled beers will be £3.25 and a 175ml glass of wine will be £4.90.

This is obviously a regrettable step, but club bar prices will still be considerably cheaper than elsewhere in town.

2). Club Night this Friday 22nd Dec

In the absence of both Jason and Tim, Dean has very kindly agreed to step in and run Club Night and also the bar. "B" Court and Picton have been allocated as usual from 7pm. "A" Court is available for regular bookings. Please come along for a social game and a festive drink with your fellow club members!

3). Saturday 23rd Dec

Dean has also agreed to run the bar on Saturday morning, much to the delight I'm sure of the regular Saturday doubles crew and the other weekend club stalwarts who frequent the bar at that time.
