Calling those members who would like to support the Lifeboats (RNLI), or do more than that valuable monetary support. Can you give just 1 ½ hours of your time on Saturday 10th June to support the RNLI Flag-Day - our most important fundraising event of the year?
You may not be aware that from January this year the RNLI was the first charity that lead the initiative to not contact the public for fundraising without their permission. This means that we are no longer doing House-to-House collections so our Flag-Day event is even more important.
The Tunbridge Wells Fundraising Committee are aiming to have a wider coverage of Tunbridge Wells on the 10th June. So if anyone can give just 1 ½ hours on that day it will mean a great deal to saving lives at sea, or indeed flooded inland towns (although not likely to be Tunbridge Wells, I’m guessing!!)
If you think you can help, or would like further information, please contact Malcolm Poole (squash club member, and Chairman of the TW-RNLI Fundraising Committee) on 07785 251-798, or firstname.lastname@example.org
