Hi All
A big thank you to the 84 members who completed our recent survey. The committee met last week to review the results and agree on actions. Here's where we've got to:
Summer squash and BBQ event — we're planning a summer social combining squash and a BBQ. Watch this space for details.
Changing rooms — we are upgrading the benches and lockers in the men's changing room and improving the layout of the women's changing room.
Harveys on draft — we think we've found a solution and hope to have draught Harveys back at the club soon.
Marketing — Joe Drewett has joined the committee and is taking the lead on marketing. Way-hey!
Monday night team training — we will re-introduce these sessions, with the bar open afterwards.
Off-peak membership — we have reviewed the current arrangements. A detailed communication on this will follow shortly.
Growing the membership — following the success of the women's coaching as a route for new members joining, we are exploring how this approach can be applied more broadly. We will also work with Joe Drewett on new initiatives.
Club nights — from September, the club night sessions will be run by a committee representative (with more comms about them) and we're working on themes to keep them interesting and active.
