We are making some experimental changes to Club Night to encourage greater participation from the playing membership. 1. There will no longer be a charge for participating in Club Night. This means free squash for anyone who wants to play. 2. We recognise that there is a wide disparity in standards of players wishing to play and this may make things awkward. So for the next few weeks we will alternate the emphasis so players get to play more games against players of similar standards. 3. This Friday it will be lower league and entry level Club Night with two courts dedicated and available to players of this standard. The third court will be available for games between advanced standard players, but will be available for everyone in the event no advanced level players turn up. Next Friday we will reverse this arrangement. A number of players have stopped supporting Club Night as they simply want to play games and not get involved in on court routines and coaching, so this is an attempt to address these issues and is also a call to all new members/lower league players, beginners and intermediate level players to come down to Club Night this Friday from 7 p.m. Jason will be on hand to make sure everyone gets plenty of games on court so please come down, enjoy some squash and support your club!! We are open to fresh ideas on how to improve Club Night so please let Jason know of any ideas you may have on this.
