Survey update!

Hi All

Following our recent survey, here's a summary of what's happening...

Social events: A Squash and BBQ event is planned for 12 September – more details to follow.

There is a club golf day on Saturday 5th September. Join the WhatsApp group for more info.

Bar: Draught Harveys - enjoy an August pint at the bar!

Club night: A revitalised club night is coming soon – the first one is Thursday 3 September. Watch this space.

Changing rooms: The privacy issue in the women's changing room has been addressed. Plans are in place for new lockers and new bench legs in the men's.

Membership: From 2027, we will move to standard membership only – off-peak membership will no longer be available.

Half day Squash mini-tournaments: We're holding half-day mini-tournaments (approx monthly) at varied levels to encourage wider participation, with event for players ranked around 800-2000 (on squashlevels) on Saturday 15 August and for 300–800 levels on Saturday 22 August. Join the appropriate WhatsApp group for more info. (Please email mikejubb1@gmail.com if you’re unsure which group to join or would like to know more).

Team squash: Monday evening sessions will be re-introduced with a new format, starting 21 September.

Club tournaments: These will start earlier this year to avoid the usual end-of-year congestion – dates to be confirmed.

Women into Squash: We're holding women's squash sessions as part of the Women into Squash initiative on the following Saturday mornings: 5 September, 12 September, 3 October and 10 October. More details to follow.

Thanks again to everyone who took the time to complete the survey.
