New Club Sponsor

The Committee are pleased to announce that Sankey’s have just become a Club sponsor, joining the Spa in helping me keep Tunbridge Wells Squash and Rackets Club members well fed and watered – or should we say beered!

Sankey’s main deal will be sponsoring the Club’s shirts but they will be involved in several other events – such as supporting squash tournaments and delivering a prize for the New Year’s Bash. More details are displayed by the bar and soon you will be able to secure a shirt but be sure to support this new relationship. The best way you can do that in the short term is to turn up to a social at Sankey’s Pub on October 1st after a squash tournament that all can enter. Handicapping will ensure a tight finish – won last time round by Martin Steyn who has worn his prize apron every Sunday since. Sankey’s will be doing a meal and pint from 6.30pm and you don’t even have to play in the tournament but you do have to pay the heavily discounted price – so make this a good deal for all concerned!

Also may we remind you to also support the Spa who as you know will be hosting our New Year’s Bash on January 5th. Do not forget that every time you use the Spa – for food, beer, treatments or even just a room – you get a 10% discount and the Club gets a donation of 10% of your spend. All you have to do is say you are a member of the Club.

If you want to know more just ask me behind the bar but be aware I am away until the 25th .
