TWSRC update - hopefully not much longer now...

Dear members
Well, it’s been a long winter without squash!
We do hope you and your families have been keeping well, and that now lockdown easing has finally arrived that you’ve been able to get out doing a few more things, especially in this great weather we’re having.
We don’t have certainty yet from England Squash / Sport England about when squash can return, since it’s dependent on the start date of the Government’s Stage 2 of lockdown easing which has yet to be confirmed. England Squash are awaiting Government guidance no earlier than 5th April which could allow for the reopening of courts from 12th April in line with Step 2 of the Government roadmap.
As per England Squash’s website (https://www.englandsquash.com/back-to-squash/guidance), the permitted squash activities in line with Step 2 would provisionally be solo practice, same household, junior group coaching and one-to-one adult and junior coaching. TWSRC will be ready for that for 12th April or as soon as we are allowed to restart.
As you may know, Step 3 of the Lockdown easing roadmap will be 17th May at the earliest and Step 4 will be 21st June at the earliest. The England Squash website sets out what squash activities they believe would be possible at these stages, but as always this is subject to agreement with Sport England.
