England Squash honours our own Mary Scott-Miller - February 2020

Our own squash legend and committee member, Mary Scott-Miller, received a special award from England Squash during the finals day at the AJ Bell National Championships in Nottingham earlier this month.

Mary and fellow referees Jill Wood and Dean Clayton retire at the end of this season after a combined contribution of more than 125 years refereeing at World, European and National squash events. They were presented with special gifts from England Squash director Nick Murrills.

As well as a long refereeing career at the highest level, Mary has also dedicated her life to coaching and has introduced multiple generations of girls to the game in Kent. She also served as Development Officer for the Kent SRA.

On behalf the club, we congratulate Mary for an amazing career of refereeing and of service in enthusing and coaching so many young people in squash.
